Unable to return to his home planet in the J cluster, Noctis has been rebuilding; Utopia's if you're buying I'm selling philosophy and fringe patrons have made him some unique connections. He spent his first two years carving out a niche for himself there as a guy with some interesting ideas about bio-hacking and where the line between weapon and wielder might blur. It was here that Noctis had enough to bring to the table to attract a few benefactors- not enough to own land, but enough to get himself papers for Leithian citizenship. Without much interest in staking a claim of his own or in upsetting the socio-political climate of the day, he isn't a threat to the established order. Instead, he's a guest to call around when dinner has finished, after more civilized friends have gone home.

These last three years Noctis has traveled with somewhat limited freedom, plying his trade to Leithians and Westies alike- provided someone has the joy to make him an offer.

Noctis can usually be found in the markets of Westerly and Leith, trading in weapons and tech obtained from sources he isn't naming and ones he's willing to sell if you have an interest. Because he's a lazy sack of shit he's probably not awake until after 1 if he can help it...

ABILITIES

combat. 10+ years of combat experience, able to comfortably wield a wide variety of weapons including swords, lances, daggers, &guns. He also works well coordinating tandem techniques with others. Team player!

shape-shifting sword. Recognizing the nanites exclusive to his bloodline, Noctis' sword is programmable matter. It recognizes and responds to its wielder's needs by taking the shape and quality of one of thirteen weapons from Lucian dna memory.

elemental based tech. Noctis crafts what are essentially grenades- explosives, electrical currents, and cyrogenics. He specializes in locking them to a biosignature; his own, an ally's, or a customer's.

shield tech. His ring can project a shield for a limited length of time, and the number of instances he can use it is limited to the power it's been charged with. Essentially, he could use a shield multiple times for a few seconds, or he could use one shield to withstand a barrage.

warp. Owed entirely to nanites in his bloodstream, Noctis essentially has exaggerated survival skills. These nanites activate with his body's fight or flight and allow his body to phase shift. This will allow objects and people to pass through his body, while also leaving him unseen and unheard for as long as he's in this different molecular state. This ability is instantaneous, meant to protect him from harm or get to safety. While he also experiences a brief increase in strength, endurance, and speed, he is far from superhuman and is subject to the same eventual coming-down as anyone else. this ability is currently LOCKED
